ScammerWatch collects information that users voluntarily submit through our report forms, contact forms, and email communications. This may include name, email address, suspicious URLs, screenshots, wallet addresses, transaction IDs, messages, and other evidence related to an online fraud report.

We use submitted information to review reports, verify evidence, contact the reporter when clarification is needed, prepare abuse reports, and improve the safety content published on ScammerWatch.

Do not submit passwords, seed phrases, private keys, full payment card numbers, or identity documents unless we specifically provide a secure process for that purpose.

Verified or relevant report information may be shared with registrars, hosting providers, security teams, platforms, law enforcement, or other parties when necessary to process a fraud, phishing, or abuse complaint.

We use basic analytics and security tools to understand website traffic, prevent spam, and protect the website. These tools may process IP addresses, browser data, device data, pages visited, and timestamps

We keep report data only for as long as needed to review the case, maintain evidence records, comply with legal obligations, or support abuse-reporting workflows.

You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal data associated with your report. Some data may need to be retained if it is part of an active abuse, fraud, legal, or security investigation.”
